The former stables of Quinta do Pomarinho have been restored and turned into two beautiful holiday homes.
Holiday home ‘Casa Vermelha’ and Holiday home ‘Casa Azul’ offers space and comfort. Both Holiday home’s have their own rustic style and are suitable for guests who love peace, space and a vacation in nature.
These Holiday home’s are intended for 2 adults. ‘Casa Azul’ is located between the reception and the corner Holiday home ‘Casa Vermelha’. ‘Casa Azul’ is rustically furnished and has its own bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a small sitting area and a private outdoor terrace with garden chairs, garden table and a screen or umbrella against the sun. The Holiday home is heated by means of a pellet stove so that you can be warm even on cold days.
Wi-Fi is free and available on the terace of ‘Casa Azul” and at the adjacent reception and in the meeting room ‘a Taberna’ located further on the campingsite.
There is no radio or television available in the studio.
Both bedding and linen are available and included in the rental price of the Holiday home. The use of the pellets for the stove is also included in the rental price of the Holiday home. You will shower by harnessing the warmth of the sun and the solar cells. The pellet stove ensures that it’s still pleasantly warm in the Holiday home on a cold night.
Unfortunately pets are not allowed in ‘Casa Azul’.
Barbecuing is only possible in consultation with the owners of Quinta do Pomarinho. Because our Quinta is located in a nature park, it is often not possible to barbecue in the summer months due to the risk of fire!
Every season in Portugal has its own specific traits. In the Spring you will encounter a true explosion of flowers in all colors of the rainbow in Alto Alentejo. Also the Fall is a wonderful period to sleep in one of the two appartments/ studios and explore the surroundings from there against special discount rates.
The Mediterranean climate makes for pleasant winters, thanks to which you can also have a long stay in one of our accommodations on our Quinta.
