Long stay winter caravan Portugal The Alentejo, the region above the Algarve with a mild climate and a wonderful winter sun, is a great place for long stay winter in a caravan. At Quinta do Pomarinho you camp at a small farm camping between the hills of the surrounding natural park.

Long stay winter caravan offers rest, freedom, and space in the midst of a beautiful nature. From the camping you will have a beautiful view of the hills of natural park Serra de São Mamede and the peaks of the Serra da Estrale.

In the winter months the average temperature during the day is 15 degrees. With long stay winter caravan you can choose from beautiful flat spots on the upper terrain or between the olive trees.
On the estate you will also find a stream, a small lake, pastures, stone- and cork oaks, and many types of fruit trees.

Facilities long stay winter caravan

There are good facilities available on the SVR-camping and some of these run on solar energy. There is a ditch in which you can empty the toilet of your caravan. Electricity is available on all 20 sites.

We make use of special rates for long stay winter caravan from October to March. If you want, you can also rent one of our caravans for the winter period (2 persons or 2/4 persons)
