Movie premiere of “The last hangman”

"Pomarinho" experienced a historical evening in the Cinema theatre of Castelo de Vide. Ten of our guests and employees joined us as we saw the premiere of new movie "O ultimo condenado à morte".

Accompanied by the Portuguese minister for justice, we saw a sensational movie, including Pomarinho's very own Dolf in several shots, as he had part in the movie as an extra.

It was in the year of 1867, that student-priest Fransisco de Matos Lobo was sentenced to death for murder, and was hung in Castelo de Vide, possibly as an innocent man...
