Medieval festival and activities in Avis

On our quinta we regularly join in with the activities that our area offers to our guests. After a beautiful tour of the Alto Alentejo, we drive past a picturesque reservoir lake, entering the pretty town of Avis. The participants of our 10 day group walking tour and guests of the camping joins us as we travel back in time, right into the middle ages. First we are guided past the historical buildings, after which we enjoy a colourful parade, a versatile market, knight-games, falconers, music and dance. We finish the day by sharing a wonderful meal.
