Our own drink-water taps on Pomarinho soon

In the picture, you see Moniek standing next to our new 5000 liter water reservoir. She already created a concrete floor and is currently working on the plumbing. This tank will replace the smaller concrete tank, which is also harder to clean. Soon, we will dig in a new pipe from our 80 meter-deep water-spring to this new reservoir. In addition, we recently started using our second water spring; a solar pump brings the water up, in an environmentally friendly manner. In the future our guests will be able to fill up their own water bottles here. The daily chore of getting drinking water for our guests from Castelo de Vide, will then probably be no longer necessary.
