Long stay winter and climate Portugal
In the fall and the winter many people seek out the sun because they don't find the winters in their own country pleasant. The Alentejo in Portugal has a wonderful climate, ideal for the long winter months. The region offers a beautiful nature and culture, and delicious culinary delights such as the famous Alentejo wine and a range of tasty local dishes.
Climate Portugal Alentejo
The Mediterranean Sea climate influences the weather in the Alentejo and provides warm summers and dry, mild winters. The inlands of the Alentejo are also influenced by a warm, hairdryer-like flow from Andalusia.
In the summer the temperature can reach 30 degrees, in the winter the temperature during the day can fluctuate between 12 and 15 degrees. Add to that the wonderful winter sun, and it can feel very pleasant outside. The Alentejo is therefore a great place to long stay winter.
