Public transport in Portugal
The public transport in Portugal is well organized. There is a network of express buses and trains with which you can easily reach Quinta do Pomarinho. You can travel by public transport from both Lisbon and Faro as well as Porto. Below, we would like to give you some general information. We also have more detailed public transport information if you need it.
Bus
Twice a day you can travel from Lisbon to Castelo de Vide using Rede-Expressos. There is also a direct bus from Castelo de Vide to Lisbon twice a day. At 17.00 and/or 18.00 busses leave to Portalegre, 12 kilometres away from Pomarinho.
You can also travel by bus from the Netherlands to Portugal, or vice versa. Eurolines can provide this schedule.
Train
There is a train from Lisbon to Portalegre twice a day.
Pick-up service
If you are travelling by public transport in Portugal or with a Eurolines bus, we are glad to pick you up at the bus- or train station in Castelo de vide or Portalegre. For this we charge a small fee.
